I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend.  I've been married for 31 years (to the same man!).  I have two beautiful, adult daughters married to the most amazing, godly son-in-laws.  I love to read, to walk, to study and teach the Bible, and lately, to blog.

But who I really am is a child of the Most High God.
Saved by grace.
Kept by grace.
Looking forward to spending eternity in the home that Christ has gone to prepare for me.

I grew up in a Christian home, and came to faith in Jesus Christ at seven years old during Vacation Bible School.  I was in college before I began to develop a real love for and dependence on God's Word.  I always knew the Bible was important, but it was seeing a college roommate absolutely committed to God's Word that really made the impact.  A few years later, as a young mom, I was invited to a Precept Bible Study, and from that time I was hooked.  It was only when I began really studying His word that God began transforming me spiritually from the inside out.

I chose the name of my blog, Passion Pursued, because it is about pursuing the passion I have for the God who has redeemed me by His grace and revealed Himself to me in His Word.  It's just a place for me to share thoughts and encouragement that I have found from studying His Word, and the joy I have in sharing life with other believers and my own family.

I hope it encourages you to follow closely the Savior who loves you and gave Himself for you.

He is worthy of our lives.
